" I think my professors are trying to kill me!" A comment that has been heard a lot lately.
This week is going to be pretty HECTIC! But that is why I got all the fun in this weekend while I still could :)
Friday I went to town with Ayumi. We did some shopping and went to the young adults group at church. Whenever Ayumi and I drive somewhere it is an adventure. I think I am cursed or something because no matter where I go, I somehow get lost. The night was then complete with watching A Knights Tale it's a pretty funny movie if you have never seen it.
Saturday I woke up early to attend an event that I have never had the privilege of attending--or even being in for that matter. A horse show! I had to ride in it for one of my classes and was told to come at 10ish. I went up a bit early to see some of the people before me. But it ended up that I could have slept a few more hours and seen plenty because I did not ride until around 2. That is okay though, I got a nice sunburnt face and I even placed in the event!! I have a ribbon to prove it :D My horse is named Art and we rode in the walk, trot, canter flat class. It was very intimidating because there were a lot of people who were in classes above me. It was a lot of fun though, and a good experience!
Later on that night I went to an Old English Dance. That is right, Pride and Prejudice style! It was so much fun and everyone dressed up for the occasion. I wish we danced like that more!
It was a great weekend and it is crazy to believe that we are done in a week...
Today was the last day of classes and a couple were very bitter sweet to leave. It is strange how you can spend a year in the same seat of a French class around the same people and then one day you are just done. That is life I guess. But it truly was a fantastic first year in both classes and in everything else that I was able to have the opportunities to do.
Now on to Finals!
Don't tell me you forgot your camera when you went to the dance........ And the horse show!
