WHOOO 11-11-11 was today! Pretty crazy and as my roommate pointed out: It won't be 11-11-11 for another 1000 years. That is a long time away, so we made a good night.
Our brother and sister floors all got together and ate dinner. And then our amazing R.As put together a scavenger hunt for us all.
Okay so it wasn't the Amazing Race, but it was pretty epic.
We were split up into teams, to get to know people and not just the same ol' friends we usually hang out with. My group only had 4 people, which was good, we had a grand time!
The trick to this "race" however was this: Each one of us had a handicap.
1st person had to address the clue givers as "Captain Silly Pants"
2nd person could only talk in opposites (basically had to lie the whole time)
3rd person had to be silent
4th person was to talk in a British accent the whole time.
I was the 2nd person for the first half of the game. It was kind of confusing. Then for the other half I was the silent one (which was really hard to do). The clues had us running around campus like crazy people.
One of the clues even had us asking the President of the school for the next clue-yes this included saying "Captain Silly Pants". It was pretty hilarious since she was in an art gallery with tons of people who didn't know what was going on.
The end of the hunt led to a campfire where we roasted marshmallows and sang some fun campfire songs.
It was a good time, one definitely to be remembered :)
