There And Back Again- Not a Hobbit's Tale

This last week I went home for Thanksgiving! It was wonderful to go home and see my parents and some friends!!
Thursday I went to pick up my friend Danielle from her university, about 45 minutes away. We left there at five planning to have a delicious Thanksgiving dinner at 6... well 2 and a half hours later we pulled into the driveway, ready to eat.... a lot. We don't know quite what happened. Well I forgot to print return directions, thinking that Danielle would know how to get back and if not then we could back track. Directionally challenged.... yes, yes we are. But it was a good excuse to talk a lot and catch up. We started driving up a mountain and we knew we were in trouble, flat terrain is what we wanted. But we made it after calling Danielle's dad, asking a very nice couple in McDonalds for directions, calling Danielle's dad yet again, and finally calling my mom. Dinner was delicious and it filled hungry stomachs, the company was wonderful. Thankfulness. The word doesn't really describe the way I feel about my family and friends, the freedom I have to worship my Savior, and the food we have on the table. I have been so blessed!!

Danielle and me :)

Sunday my parents drove me back to school. It is really strange being back because I am still in break mode. Maybe it is the Christmas music, or the thought that the semester is done in 17 days. It is just going to be hard to get back in the swing of things (which I need to do soon because I have a BIG group presentation on Wednesday). It will get done though, it always does - as my wonderful R.A. pointed out.
The first semester is almost over.. "okay" she says "I can do this"

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!
