Seeing as how I am a poor college student now, a dollar is something that could be saved and spent on something more important (a blended coffee drink with two shots of espresso maybe). And so I decided to save that dollar; and some of the girls on my floor decided that a dollar could be saved as well. We came up with a brilliant plan.... are you ready for this...
Banana Boats and Anastasia.
At 8 o'clock we assembled to create our masterpieces. We smuggled bananas out of the cafeteria earlier during the day just for this occasion. We didn't have a camp fire, or marshmallows, or foil, but we made due with what we had.
Breaking out the bananas, peanut butter, chocolate, and nutella we met in the kitchen.
They were fantastic to say the least and a perfect Friday night snack.
The next part of our plan began. We got ourselves set up in one of our rooms with our blankets and pillows.
We had to document the occasion! :)
We watched Anastasia (yes the animated one). The lines were quoted often, and the songs were sung very loudly. We've been quoting Bartok the bat's lines ever since, no lie!
"You know, you really should watch your blood pressure. My nephew Izzy just keeled over mid-mango. Stress, it's a killer, sir."
A very late night, but one filled with a LOT of fun and laughter =D
Best Neighbors ever! :)

Haha! Katie, you're so funny. :) Especially when you quote Bartok.
ReplyDeleteClever variation of the banana boats.
And that hall picture is adorable!
