vendredi, samedi, et dimanche = week-end

That's right, I am learning French :)
Sorry for the long time in-between posts. These past two weeks have been pretty crazy, to say the least. I was able to go home last weekend, which was wonderful!!
This week consisted of basically, homework, assignments, quizzes, tests, and papers due. It was pretty insane and stressful, but Friday (vendredi) finally came and with that, the weekend!!
In short, this weekend consisted of:

• F.Y.I (First Year Intro) pizza making and tie dying party, very fun! We are all going to wear our t-shirts tomorrow, yes we are cool. 
• Spa party with our sister floor, an awesome way to just let the stress of the past week be forgotten.
• Watching The Ghost and the Darkness with my amazing R.A. It was a very good movie!!
• JET (Journey's End Tutoring) = I was able to go to Buffalo and tutor a refugee family in English. It was an awesome experience. 
• Ice Cream Sunday!!!!! My roommate and I have a rule, only ice cream on Sundays. It is somewhat hard to get through the week with the all-you-can-eat ice cream staring you in the face. But on Sundays it is a wonderful treat, and well worth the wait :) 

So that was my weekend. It was very relaxing and just what we needed to get back into school and start a new week.
Fall is coming. The trees are changing colors and the weather has become more unpredictable. Two of my friends and myself took a walk yesterday to enjoy one of the last days of sunshine that we might have for awhile.
